Repeat these regularly, every other day. It would be fine to do them daily too. 

Basic Vagus Nerve Exercise

1.  Sit straight and turn your head as far to right and as far to left as possible. Note how far you can see behind you lace your fingers together and hold the back of your head in your hands.

 

2.  Keep your head straight and firmly in your hands move your eyes to the right and hold. Eventually you will sigh or yawn or take a big breath.

 

3. Move your eyes gently to the left and hold, repeating step 2. Eventually you will sigh or yawn or take a big breath.

 

4.  Remove your hands and turn your head as far to right and as far to left as possible. Note how far you can see behind you, comparing to the first time.

 

Second Vagus nerve exercise

1.  Hold your elbows with each hand.

 

2.  Hold them as low as you can and twist your torso and head to right then left, repeating 3 times

 

3.  Hold your arms as before and now raise them level with your chest, ie horizontal; twist your torso and head to right then left, repeating 3 times

 

4.  Hold your arms as before and raise above your head; twist your torso and head to right then left, repeating 3 times
