Health starts from within
Hi, I’m Margie! I am on a mission to help you realise that no problem is too small and there is an alternative out there that can help.
I am passionate about people living healthy lives, ones they can enjoy and participate in, for their whole lives.
Don’t settle for sub-par health. Let me help you get your quality of life back.
It might start with nutrition, but it doesn't end there.
How long have you been following different advice to address your problems? And perhaps they work for a while but the benefits simply don't last? Skin issues, tummy aches, achy limbs and joints, feeling sick too often, falling ill repeatedly, food poisoning repeatedly.
It's frustrating, and I've been there.
These are all symptoms of pathogen infections.
Address those and you'll get lasting results.
Pathogens - what are they?
Pathogens are other organisms that interfere with our health. They may be parasites, viruses, unhelpful bacteria, moulds. I also add toxins here too - they are plentiful in our environment and our bodies have not evolved to deal with most of them.
My specialism is the identification and treatment of pathogenic and parasitic infections. I am intrigued by them and how little is understood about them.
While parasitic infections are unpleasant to contemplate, we all have them to some degree. These clever invaders may or may not create identifiable health issues. Yet they can be a significant cause of illness. They are probably the least identified source of illness, as they seldom appear in blood or stool samples.
Autoimmune conditions, where the body is attacking itself, may be driven by a well-hidden and unwanted parasite causing the immune system to work really hard to eradicate it but damaging itself in the process.
My clients come with a range of symptoms. Mostly, they have found no solutions elsewhere, know they are ‘not right’ but there seems to be no reason for it. If that is you, please contact me for a free call to see how I can help.
I'm a mum of three and, as every parent understands, I will walk through fire or over broken glass to help my girls.
So when my youngest began scratching herself and making herself red-raw and bleeding, I was not going to stand by and do nothing.
That was way back in 1994, and gave rise to my first ah-ha moment that "you are what you eat". I'd been searching high and low for a solution for my toddler, and I lost count of the number of alternative practitioners we saw. This was alongside many hospital visits that yielded no significant improvements and she was still red-raw all over.
Eventually someone mentioned a kinesiology practitioner four hours drive away. I went. I was desperate. Within thirty minutes he told me what foods were triggering her; within ninety minutes we had an actionable plan. My daughter's eczema cleared up, though it took time and commitment. Her eyes shone and she was a very happy little thing. And so was I!
Some years later, changes in food, Kinesiology actions and appropriate supplements for another daughter remedied severe fatigue. We found out that her exhaustion was being driven by a pathogen caught several years previously and something one might have thought as unrelated; It wasn’t – it was the underlying cause. Other factors, such as stress and a motor accident, had contributed to a suppressed immune system and enabled the pathogens to gain the upper hand, leading to exhaustion.
I decided there and then that I wanted to be able to do this; to help others whose backs were against the wall with their health, as ours had been. So I trained and qualified as a Nutritionist and then Kinesiologist in 2015.
My approach is not simply about removing foods and limiting diets, it is about dialling down the root cause of illness at a deeper level.
What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a holistic therapy that uses muscle response testing to measure the motor response of the central nervous system to a sensory challenge. By doing this, imbalances are found and amended.
Simple, safe and precise, Kinesiology techniques can quickly and painlessly pinpoint root causes underlying the illness symptoms. It works on physical, emotional and energetic levels.
Kinesiology identifies the roadblocks preventing your body from healing itself, which is what it’s intrinsically programmed to do. Then using Kinesiology actions to strengthen the body, healing can take place.
What is Nutrition?
Nutrition is way more than calories. We tend to think of nutrition as the food we consume, but really it is about what our body absorbs; your excellent diet may not be fully utilised and thus failing to feed you nutritiously.
Symptoms throughout the body can often be improved or even resolved by treating the gut. The ecosystem in your gut, fed by what you eat, must be healthy for you to be healthy. Your digestive system is the home for around 70% of your immune system and manufactures 80% - 90% of serotonin (the feel-good hormone). It is easy to see why looking after your digestion and what you eat is so important.
If your skin is bad or you have allergies, can’t seem to lose weight, suffer from an autoimmune disease, have hormonal swings, have insulin resistance / metabolic syndrome or have recurring headaches, the reason may be that your gut is unhealthy. Your gut could be a major cause of your chronic symptoms, and the food you digest will be driving it.
Who can benefit from Kinesiology?
Who can be helped?
Well, pretty much anyone with any or a combination of the following:
Frequent headaches or migraines
Frequent illnesses, seemingly unrelated
Chronic long term health issues * Autoimmune conditions
Hormonal imbalance * Emotional states
Allergies * Hay fever * Rhinitis * Food sensitivities
Pre-diabetes * Metabolic syndrome * Blood sugar control
Stomach issues * Stomach pains * Heartburn * Acid reflux * Belching
Digestive disorders * Bloating * Indigestion * Constipation * Diarrhoea * Wind
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Inflammatory Bowel Diseases
Tired all the time syndrome (TATT)
Severe fatigue * Post viral fatigue syndrome
Skin disorders * Eczema * Acne * Psoriasis
"I just don't feel well" conditions
Stress * Anxiety * Feeling burnt-out
What clients have said
Claire Jackson, Jan 23
Margie took the time to listen to me about my concerns, and my aches and pains.
She also asked about my background history to see if anything could be linked back to previous incidents, and from here she prescribed a dose of herbal medicine which was dispatched very efficiently with clear guidelines on when to take it and side effects etc.
Following a course of this herbal remedy my pains have completely gone, and no more late night googling for me trying to work out what is wrong with me!
Throughout the whole process Margie was on hand if I had any questions and would check up on me regularly to ensure all was ok.
Sometimes just thinking outside the box might be the answer to your problem.

I'd been suffering for years with a stomach problem that after eating I would often get bloating and discomfort. I'd tried conventional medicine, but it hadn't resolved it, and I'd tried to pin it down to certain types of food, but it seemed to happen without a pattern. So I just put up with it. Then my path crossed with Margie's and I'm very happy it did. She was able to discern that a certain type of parasite was causing me problems, (I don't know how she did it, it seemed like magic to me), and she prescribed a solution. It was unconventional, but I went with it and the results have been brilliant. After taking Margie's medicine, (around two months ago), I have not had a single flare up and it has been brilliant. If you have discomfort and you can't find a solution, then I would highly recommend having a call with Margie to see if she can help. Yes it's unconventional - but it works! Thanks Margie!
